The 7th annual IAT Technological Education Conference (IATTEC 2016)
The 7th annual IAT Technological Education Conference (IATTEC 2016) was held this year on the 4th & 5th of April at the Applied Technology Complex in Mohammed Bin Zayed City in Abu Dhabi. The conference theme, “Transforming Learning through Creative Classrooms” aims to provide a platform for developing creative approaches to STEAM classroom practices via the use of a diverse range of pedagogical strategies
The “Hour of Code” Event
The Computer Science Deptartment of ATHS-boys campus in Mohammed Bin Zayed successfully conducted the “Hour of Code” event on the 7th of December, 2015.
ATHS Grade 8, 9 and STS Grade 10 participated in this global event along with twenty four teachers. All joiners received certificates for their participation. After a student chose a game and completed 20 levels during the one hour of Code, they were awarded certificates of completion
